Edith Gonzalez returns to Telemundo as Eva Soler in "Eva la Trailera," premiering Tuesday, January 26. She and actors Jorge Luis Pila and Arap Bethke are kicking of 2016 with a new telenovela, which promises to empower every women.
"It's a love story, it's a comedy, it has suspense," Bethke told Latin Times about the soap opera. "It's about a woman who manages to make it on her own, a woman who is in a marriage crisis, but gets out of the toxic relationship. She then meets my character and a beautiful love story unfolds," he added.
In the novela, Bethke portrays Pablo Contreras, a young detective with good values, who sweeps Eva off her feet. Gonzalez is Eva, a successful woman who drives trucks for a living. She is married to Pila's character, Armando Montes, who is abusive and egocentric.
