Erin Andrews Justin Bieber Flub: Watch Fox Sportscaster Call Justin Verlander JB On Accident [VIDEO]

Erin Andrews can't seem to catch a break. Most sportscasters are easily forgiven when making a mistake or having a slip of the tongue, but not for the Fox Sports Broadcaster. In a recent interview with Mike Napoli of the Boston Red Sox, Andrews stutters when attempt to ask him about his last home run against pitcher Justin Verlander. After watching the video it seems to be more than a stutter and more like a last name confusion, leaving viewers wondering which Justin, Andrews was thinking about at the time of the interview.

Andrews might have had a simple mind slip when interviewing Napoli, almost stating "Justin Bieber" instead of the Detroit Tigers pitcher. Despite knowing if the sportscaster did in fact mistake Justin Bieber for Justin Verlander, Twitter erupted in a fury of accusations and jokes. And while it may have been best for Andrews to not comment and simply let the stutter lie, she took to Twitter and engaged in a heated debate with one user. One user tweeted directly at Andrews writing, "@ErinAndrews did you almost say Justin Bieber instead of Verlander in post game interview?" Andrews, never one to miss a Twitter war, responded back "My lord..people are unreal." Seemingly unsatisfied with her response, Andrews sent out a secondary tweet defending herself writing, "If u really think I have Bieber on my mind, then u are soooooo right #sarcasm."

Now I don't know why exactly Andrews is so upset about having a Freudian slip, just so we're clear I always have Justin Bieber on my mind. And while she certainly catches more slack from the male dominated sports audience than most sportscasters, she messed up and she has to own it. Andrews also called Detroit manager Jim Leyland by the wrong name during the same game, sending even more heat aimed her way. Andrews also took to Twitter to defend herself, maybe the next time Andrews has a slip flub on air, she should just stay off Twitter.
