Enrique Iglesias is one of the best-selling Spanish artists of all time, with over 100 million albums sold worldwide. He also holds the record for producing 23 number one Spanish singles on the Billboard's Hot Latin Tracks chart. Enrique has had five Billboard Hot 100 top 5 singles, including two number ones and 12 number one songs on Billboard's Dance charts, surpassing any other single male artist. If you put all his hits together, he's amassed 70 number one rankings on the various Billboard charts. His impressive career began in 1995 singing love ballads in Spanish.
He transitioned smoothly into a more upbeat Latin style, later landing his crossover opportunity when Will Smith asked him to write a song for his movie "Wild Wild West." After "Bailamos," the result of that request, and other hits like "Hero," "Tonight I'm Loving You," "I Like It" and "Dirty Dancer" just to name a few, Enrique decided to take on a different approach and joined producer The Cataracs to create a new avant-garde single, with an electronic and techno vibe that's already being the clubs' favorite. "Turn the Night Up" was the first cut from the singer's 10th studio album, which will go on sale this November, and in anticipation, Enrique is heating things up again!
He has created a playlist on Rdio, a social jukebox with over 20 million songs to discover, play, and share, and he named it "Goin' Loco." Enrique shared his current favorite songs, including friends and collaborators like Pitbull, Juan Luis Guerra, and Alejandro Sanz. He also shares his own steamy single "Loco" featuring Romeo Santos, which was released as the second cut from his upcoming album. Besides "Loco," you'll also find Daddy Yankee's "Limbo," Jesse & Joy's "Corre!" Wisin & Yandel's "Something About You," Enrique's own song, featuring Dominican prodigy Juan Luis Guerra, "Cuando Me Enamoro," "Las Avispas," by Juan Luis Guerra as well, "Si No Te Hubieras Ido," by Marco Antonio Solis, "Echa Pa'lla (Manos Pa'rriba)" by Pitbull, "Corazón Partío," a Spanish classic by Alejandro Sanz, and "Es Por Ti," by Colombian super star Juanes.
