The ex-wife of hip hop star Eminem was rushed to a hospital last month after reportedly attempting suicide in Michigan, just days after her mother passed away.

Police and emergency workers were deployed to the home of Kim Scott, 46, following a 911 call of a suicidal person at her address on July 30.

They found the woman with several lacerations on the back of her leg, with blood already pooling on the floor. Authorities moved to transport her to a medical facility, during which she allegedly retaliated against first responders.

According to TMZ, the woman became so aggressive that she had to be restrained by the cops. However, paramedics were still unable to check her vitals as she continued to resist any medical attention.

She was eventually sent to an undisclosed medical center and was later advised to recover at home. It remains unclear if she's getting additional care.

The incident comes just one week after Scott’s mother, Kathleen Sluck, died on July 23 at the age of 65. A funeral for Sluck was held at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home on July 29, a day before Kim reportedly harmed herself, the New York Daily News noted.

Meanwhile, her sister Dawn Scott, 41 at the time, died of a suspected heroin overdose in 2016. Following the younger Scott's death, Kim wrote in an online condolence book that she would “never feel whole” again.

“I kept a light lit for her hoping she’d find her way back to me," a part of her statement read per Page Six.

“Half of me is gone and I will never feel whole again. made me laugh and kept me on my toes," she continued. "She was the best sister and friend in the world and I will miss her until we are together again.”

Scott and Eminem, 48, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, welcomed their daughter Hailie Jade in 1995 after meeting each other in high school. They tied the knot in 1999 but got divorced in 2001. They would briefly remarry for a few months in 2006.

“The Real Slim Shady” and “Lose Yourself” rapper refused to publicly comment on the recent report about Scott, who has been the subject of several Eminem hit songs over the years amid their rocky on-and-off relationship.
