‘Elite’ Season 3 Cast, Plot And Release Date Prediction As Filming Ends

“Elite” season 3 has been renewed even before the second chapter was released in September. Netflix announced its renewal in August and filming immediately commenced.

According to Variety, it was Diego Avalos, the director of “Elite” who revealed that the series was given a go signal to continue to the third season. Apparently, the show got an early renewal order after it recorded over 20 million viewers that made it one of the biggest drama foreign-language drama series. This teen suspense thriller was produced by Zeta Audiovisual and release worldwide by Netflix.

Cast Lineup and New Character Additions

When “Elite” season 3 returns, all the cast members are expected to be back. The original characters consisting of Lu (Danna Paola), Omar (Omar Ayuso), Carla (Ester Expósito), Polo (Álvaro Rico), Ander (Arón Piper), Nadia (Mina El Hammani) and Guzmán (Miguel Bernardeau) are all reprising their roles. There will be new cast additions and they are Valerio (Jorge Lopez),

Rebeca (Claudia Salas), Cayetana (Georgina Amoros), Leïti Sène (Yeray) and Sergio Momo (Malick).

What to Expect in the Upcoming Season

“Elite” season 3 will pick up from where the second chapter left off. In the final episode of the previous season, it became clear that Polo was responsible for the killing of one of the students. He is a well-known figure on the campus so the school and his co-students will be shocked by the discovery.

Polo killed Marina and this is a big deal. As a result, the first few episodes of “Elite” season 3 will focus on his story. The school will try to seek justice for the death of its student but it will face hurdles because the person involved is truly an elite student.

Filming - Is It Ongoing?

A Netflix insider announced via social media that the cast is done with filming “Elite” season 3. On Oct. 4, See What’s Next wrote on Twitter, “#Elite has been renewed for Season 3! Actually, they've already finished filming the new episodes and they will hit Netflix in 2020.”

In any case, while filming wrapped up already, “Elite” season 3’s release date has yet to be announced by Netflix. The specific date is not available as of this time but based on predictions it will be out by September or October next year.
