Comic Con 2013 is in full swing and one of the teaser trailers released was for "The Amazing Spiderman 2." Fans got a first look at Jamie Fox as he becomes the super villain Electro.

Fox joins the cast along with the returning Andrew Garfield as Spiderman, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy and Sally Field as Aunt May. Other new additions to the "Amazing Spiderman 2" cast include Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn and Paul Giamatti as the Rhino, another adversary Spidey will have to face.

In the teaser trailer we get just a glimpse of Fox as Electro. Fox is doing the voiceover. In the clip Electro is wondering about his power and just how much of it he has. "I feel it in my veins." Fox's Electro says as he is strapped to a table. "No matter what you do doc, you can't contain it. You want to know how powerful I am. Well I want to know too. I'm Electro."

In the original Spiderman comic book the villain Electro has the ability to control electricity. He gains this power after he is struck by lightning.

Director Marc Webb was behind the camera again for the Spiderman sequel. The film will be out July 19, 2014. Webb spoke with MTV before the Comic Con panel. The director said the sequel will tease future movies and give hints as to what is to become of Spiderman. Webb told MTV,

"These movies are sort of on-going, and there are hints and teases of what's going to unfold in the future, but we were very focused on that simple conflict between Spider-Man and Electro. Electro is, to me, a really captivating and interesting villain because at this point, Spider-Man is really good at being Spider-Man. There is a level of virtuosity that is really fun to make and really fun to watch. Those abilities need to be challenged."
