Raúl De Molina and Lily Estefan, also known as El Gordo y La Flaca, have been entertaining the Latino community for 15 years. Their show has been very successful throughout the years mostly because of the chemistry these two have developed and the viewers enjoy that. They have shared laughs, disagreements, tears of joy and happiness but through it all they have had unforgettable moments.
When asked what Lily’s favorite moment on the show was she responded “We have been through difficult moments and the most difficult one being when they diagnosed Raúl with kidney cancer, for me personally. At first the question was Oh my God, is he going to return? Not going to return? What is going to happen? When I decided to enter I knew there was only one Gordo and one Flaca. It comes to a point that when you face something like that, for me personally it was very tough. But then there are other moments I can classify as happy moments.”
When Raúl was asked what the viewers could expect from the 15 year week long celebration he stated “They can expect a recap of the best moments of El Gordo y La Flaca for 15 years, we are going to have interviews, celebrities, we are just going to do what has worked for the past 15 years.” This show is not just a gossip show, but a variety show that appeals to different types of people. This week long celebration will be televised on Univisión the first week of March. Tune in to see what El Gordo y La Flaca have planned.
