Los Angeles' wildfires continue to spread, creating a critical situation for the city's residents. Many Hollywood celebrities have spoken out about the alarming events, including Mexican actress and model Eiza González.

Through her Instagram account González shared several stories addressing the devastating fires that have threatened the California city since Tuesday.

The 34-year-old actress had also offered her Los Angeles home as a refuge for friends who had lost their homes or were forced to evacuate due to the fires.

Despite her kind offer, a few hours later González announced on the same platform that she, like many other residents, had to evacuate her own home. She shared the news in an Instagram story expressing her fear and distress over the ongoing crisis.

"I have never felt so much fear in my life. I am in absolute shock and panic. Leaving my home knowing it's most likely the last time I'll see it and not knowing what's next hearing my loved ones crying and panicking. Losing everything. There's nothing left but to pray. This is the worst nightmare, and it won't end I'm heartbroken and shattered," González shared.

She followed this with videos taken as she left the city by car, showing the sky lit up by the fires continuing to spread across Los Angeles.

Before her evacuation, the actress used her platform to raise awareness about the fires, posting a map highlighting the active wildfire zones around the area.

"It went from 5K to 21K acres in less than 10 hrs. These fires have taken life of it's own and they can't control them. Evacuate. Stop waiting they're moving faster than they every imagined," she urged.

The fires have continued to rage uncontrollably due to strong winds in the area, making containment efforts challenging. Other celebrities like Ben Affleck, Mark Hamill, and James Woods have had to evacuate or lost their homes in the devastating fires.

According to authorities, the wildfires have claimed lives and destroyed the homes of many Los Angeles residents, who have evacuated to protect themselves and their families.
