Nearly 560,000 people have petitioned to Macy's CEO Terry J. Lundgren to 'dump Donald Trump."

"Donald Trump does not reflect the 'magic of Macy's', the petition statement read. "We urge you to sever ties with him. Macy's says it has a strong obligation to be "socially responsible" and that 'actions speak louder than words.' Indeed. It's time to act."

The petition was Angelo Carusone who ABC News says is a 30-year-old lawyer.

According to Carusone, "Trump engages in especially unpleasant, nasty and despicable behavior."

"[Trump has] long engaged in sexist behavior" the petition read. "Trump has a long record of personally attacking women he disagrees by calling them "unattractive," ugly or fat. [He has] perpetuated the racially charged birther conspiracy, repeatedly arguing that President Obama has been lying and was not born in the United States."

On election night when President Obama was reelected, Trump called for a revolution and urged Americans to "march on Washington."

In October, Trump offered Obama $5 million to if Obama releases his college and passport records.

Macy's released a statement yesterday.

"Many of the individuals associated with products sold at Macy's -- or at any retailer, for that matter -- express personal opinions that are not related to the merchandise we sell or to the philosophies of our company," the statement said.

Michael Cohen, executive vice president and special counsel to Trump, told Celebuzz that the petition is "ironic."

"What I find incredulous is that the creator of the petition is protecting his First Amendment right to free speech while simultaneously trying to impede upon Mr. Trump's," Cohen said. "I question the legitimacy and accuracy of the website and the number of signatures claimed to have joined this petition. Regardless, The Trump Organization values its longstanding relationship with Macy's and looks forward to many more years of continued success."

Yesterday, Trump tweeted about one of his lines at Macy's.

"My fragrance--"Success"-- is flying off the shelves @Macys," Trump tweeted. "The perfect Christmas gift!"

Cher chimed in on Twitter to support the petition.

"I'll NEVER GO TO MACY'S AGAIN!" Cher tweeted. "I didnt know they sold Donald Trump's Line! If they don't care that they sell products from a LOUDMOUTH RACIST CRETIN,WHO'D LIE LIKE "HIS RUG"TO GET SOME CHEAP PRESS ! I CANT BELIEVE MACY'S THINKS HE'S THE RIGHT "MAN" 2 REPRESENT THEIR NAME !"
