Apparently Drake isn’t that popular with the Miami Heat. Or maybe it was just a bad time for a rapper to attempt to enter the basketball team’s locker room. I mean they did just win the NBA Championship!
Drake and his entourage attempted to enter the Miami Heat locker room immediately after winning Game 7, and he was promptly denied access by the Heat’s security. Drake wanted to celebrate with the Heat following their second consecutive championship win, but he was told that unless he was media, he was not allowed in.
Drake’s reaction is priceless and really quite satisfying for all us regular folk who love when celebrities get reminded that they are not above the law!
Check out the hilarious video clip of Drake getting burned below:
But don’t feel to bad for “Drizzy” Drake because he joined the Heat in the club later on in the evening to celebrate their victory. It seems that Drake took the embarrassing incident in stride; tweeting today “I am media. Hahahaha.” followed up by another tweet “Ah man. Good times.”
I am media. Hahahaha.

Sports writer Shandel Richardson, seemed to enjoy watching the famous rapper get denied access to the locker room, writing, "I got in the locker room [and] Drake was denied access."
Best moment: I got in the locker room. And Drake was denied access.
