The Miss Gay San Juan 2013 pageant in Tarapoto, Peru ended with a brawl over the rightful winner of the crown. One contestant of the pageant started a fight during the crowning ceremony after the winner was announced, believing that the wrong winner was announced. In fact, according to several media outlets, the runner-up at the Miss Gay San Juan 2013 pageant attacked the newly-crowned winner.

Video footage (which can be found below) reveals that Rihanna's "Diamonds" was playing in the backdrop when the runner-up attacked the winner, causing the winner to hit the floor. The two ladies got into a brawl on the stage's floor in their gowns. Wigs were thrown and the two ladies even went as far as stabbing each other with heels. The audience can be heard screaming in horror. Ultimately, the two were separated by security and taken off stage.
Reports indicate that the wrong winner was, in fact, announced. But perhaps the real winner's anger (not violence) was better suited for the judges than her fellow contestant.
