Two donkeys are suspected of mauling a 65-year-old man to death in Hungary. Donkeys are known for their stubborn nature but are usually thought of as tame and docile.
So when you hear that two donkeys are suspected in the mauling death of an elderly man, you might have to do a double take.
Sandor Horvath was a retired firefighter from Hungary. While traveling in a small village outside Budapest ecanadanow.com reports the elderly man was dragged off his motorcycle by two donkeys and mauled.
The report says the two suspected donkeys lived on one of the local farms. They apparently dragged the man off his bike, biting, kicking, and trampling Horvath to death.
According to the Associated Press the police are investigated the man's death but have not decided the fate of the two donkey suspected of the mauling. The police are trying to determine if Horvath provoked the two donkeys into mauling him or if it was a random attack.
Neither the owner of the donkeys or the Horvath family have made any statements.
