Donald Trump accused Democrats of helping Joe Biden win the presidential elections through fraud on Wednesday. He also declared himself the likely winner in the Trump-Biden race, saying his camp was already preparing for the big celebration.

In a speech on early Wednesday, Trump claimed he was the victor of the race but the Democrats attempted to tank his “phenomenal results” so Biden could win. “I want to thank the American people for their tremendous support,” he said. “Millions and millions of people voted for us tonight. And a very sad group of people is trying to disenfranchise that group of people, and we won’t stand for it,” he added.

Trump also claimed he was “winning everything” and getting ready for the “big celebration” but “all of a sudden, that was just called off.” The Republican candidate accused Biden’s camp on Twitter of trying to meddle with the results of the election, warning them against casting votes after the polls are closed. “We will never let them do it,” he wrote.

As of early Wednesday, Donald Trump seemed on track to lose only one state he won in 2016, Arizona. However, The Associated Press said it was too soon to declare a winner since a fifth of the total ballots was still uncounted. Joe Biden was also projected to win one electoral vote from Nebraska’s 1st Congressional District, which Trump won in 2016.

As of this writing, the results of the presidential race remain undecided in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin as a huge number of mail-in ballots amid the pandemic had delayed results in the three states. The state Supreme Court in Pennsylvania allowed mail-in ballots to be counted until Friday despite the Republicans arguing that should not be allowed.

Meanwhile, the partial results shattered Democratic hopes for a landslide win for Joe Biden. Despite that, the Democratic candidate said in an after-midnight speech that he was happy with where he was as of Wednesday. “We feel good about where we are,” he said. “We really do. I’m here to tell you tonight that we believe we’re on track to win this election,” he added.

"The ban on H-1B visas, which are often used to fill very niche positions that are not easily found in the American workforce, will ultimately prove to be counterproductive and is an example of using a nuclear bomb to address a bar fight," said Leon Fresco, a former deputy assistant attorney general in the Obama administration who now represents H-1B workers.
