A dog owner was overwhelmed with joy after he was reunited with his pup that was missing for days in the devastating California wildfires.
Casey Colvin was out of town when the Palisades fire hit his hometown, destroying his house. First responders were able to bring one of Colvin's dogs, Tika Tika Tika, to him, but his other dog Oreo remained missing, as reported by NBC News.
Oreo evaded rescuers after running out of the home. He was later seen in a viral poster for a missing dog. A little more than a day after Colvin's story was shared, he was able to be reunited with Oreo after returning to what was left of his home.

"Oh my God you're alive! You're alive! Oh honey," Colvin shouted as he scooped Oreo up into his arms. The overjoyed pet owner ran around his street whooping and cheering with the dog on his shoulder.
"Oh thank you Jesus! Oh thank you God!" Colvin yelled before thanking NBC's Liz Kreutz, who had been the one to first share his story.
Social media users shared their excitement at Colvin and Oreo being brought back together, with many saying how nice it was to have good news amid all the destruction.

I would be right there with this guy, totally losing it and crying my eyes out if it were my dog. So happy for this man and his little pup!
