'Doctor Who' 50th Anniversary Special: Will The 5th Doctor, Peter Davison, Make An Appearance?

The "Doctor Who" 50^th Anniversary Special may have more Doctors than ever before. The fifth Doctor may have let something slip on the upcoming anniversary. Earlier this week when speaking with the British morning show, Daybreak, Peter Davison; the fifth Doctor, had some interesting things to say about the 50^th anniversary special. Could this be true? Especially after hearing the news that none of the original Doctors from the hit-show will be making an appearnace in the 50th anniversary.

The fifth Doctor has let said on more than one occastion that he will be involved in the upcoming 50th Annivsersay special. Davison was quoted as saying to Daybreak, "I've heard lots of rumours, none of which I'm allowed to tell you anything about. I'm privy to them actually." He went on to say: "I have got a copy of the script which has got my name embossed across it. So it's top secret, but there's other stuff, lots of other things that are going on that people should keep their eye open for around the 50th anniversary special!"

Davison also let some information slip on appearing for an anniversary or episode telling BANG showbiz: "I'm making an appearance somewhere over that period of time but I can't reveal in what...I can't reveal anything specific about it. I'm not allowed to...It is a big year for the show and we're all doing our bit for it. Trust me."

Could this point towards Davison reprising his role as the fifth Doctor in this November's 50^th Anniversary Special?

It has been said that none of the original Doctors will be making an appearance in the upcoming 50^th Anniversary "The Day of the Doctor," but if that is the case then how and why does Davison have a personalized copy of the script?

Whatever the case may be the "Doctor Who" 50^th Anniversary Special will air on BBC One November 23.
