British OnlyFans star Lily Phillips has raised eyebrows with her plans to break the world record for the most sexual partners in 24 hours, even prompting a warning from a doctor about the dangers of the feat.
The record was set in 2004 by adult performer Lisa Sparks with 919 partners. The event is scheduled for January, with Phillips actively recruiting 1,000 participants.
Sydney physician Dr. Zac Turner has voiced health concerns, likening the stunt to an untrained marathon. He warned of physical risks such as bruising, exhaustion, dehydration, and long-term psychological impacts in an interview with news.com.au.
"Sex, at its core, is a physically demanding activity that engages various muscles, the cardiovascular system, and the release of endorphins," Turner explained. "However, when pushed to extremes, like a 24-hour sexual marathon, the physical and physiological toll can be severe."
Phillips claims she has been "training" for months, recently completing a session with 101 partners, and a session with 300 participants scheduled in the coming weeks. She admits the process is grueling, describing "it's like a boxing match."
"Bonking 101 guys in 14 hours is so much harder than a 9 to 5," she said during an appearance on The Reality Check podcast.
Logistical challenges include managing participants and adhering to a strict time schedule, with Phillips employing a PA and security team.
"I'm just hoping for a conveyor belt, they need to walk in the room and then leave," she said.
Critics have expressed shock and disgust online, questioning the normalization of such stunts for attention. Dr. Turner emphasized the need to prioritize health and emotional well-being over viral fame.
"From a medical perspective, it's essential to respect bodily autonomy and individuals' right to make choices about their bodies," he said. "However, such extreme endeavors invite questions about intent, emotional wellbeing, and potential coercion. Social media has magnified these events, often prioritizing shock value over genuine health or personal growth."
Sparks, the current record holder, revealed regrets over her experience, calling it a decision motivated strictly by money.
"To be completely transparent with you all, this event is the one thing I regret doing in the 23+ years in the porn industry to this day," she wrote on her website.
