It's that time of the year where we can use our imagination and dress up as anyone we want to be, Halloween! As the holiday approaches, some might still be stumped as to what to do for the very fun night. We drew some inspiration from our favorite telenovelas.
One that quickly came to mind is Maite Perroni's "Lichita" character from Univision's "Antes Muerta Que Lichita ." The very peculiar character has many characteristics that you can emulate to create a fun look. Another popular character is Rafael Amaya's "Aurelio Casillas" from "El Señor De Los Cielos ." For one night, you can also be the druglord that has all of Telemundo's viewers on the edge of their seats.
Scroll through the photos below and check out how to recreate these looks. Which one was your favorite?
Aurelio Casillas from "El Señor De Los Cielos" is an easy costume. You need a "tejana" hat to let people know you mean business. A "charra" shirt to show off that you have money, as well as a big belt buckle, preferably in gold with a religious emblem. To accessorize you also need a large gold cross pendant around your neck, because you might be an assassin and doing illegal stuff, but you know you have God's blessing. Cowboy boots are definitely needed as well as a TOY gun, to have people scared of you.

In "Antes Muerta Que Lichita," Maite Perroni plays a shy and "invisible" character that always gets passed up for a promotion. Lichita doesn't preoccupy herself too much with her physical appearance. She has a very peculiar hair cut. You will need a wig for this one, because no one should have "half-bangs" like she does. Lichita wears hand-me-downs, so you need an oversized blazer, shirt and matching skirt, to hide your figure completely. She always wears double pantyhose and black shoes.

Remember Mistica from the telenovela "Mari Mar?" This lady was all elegance and lived in luxury. She always wore a black sequin dress like if she was going to an awards show. Don't forget the pink gloves and hairspray for your red and really really really curly hair. Maybe add a glass a champagne, because you have to look fabulous while wearing all of this.
Televisa
Mónica Robles con "El Señor De Los Cielos" is one tough girl. We went with her look from the first season, where she had short hair. Ladies will need a bandage dress, gold accessories (the tackier the better) and pumps to kick some butt. Don't forget the TOY gun, because in Mónica's world, you never know who you will encounter.
Telemundo
Gaby Spanic as Paola Bracho on "La Usurpadora" was the best. Paola was a classy woman and to recreate her look you will ned a long red sexy dress and make sure you have bright red lipstick as well. Paola was conniving and she wanted her family to feel sorry for her and faked that she was paralyzed. To finish this look, a power wheelchair is needed.
Televisa
Soraya Montenegro is one villain that we still remember. She was not afraid to show the crazy in this hideous velvet top. The tackier the design, the better. Some accessories for this woman include, sharp scissors and a venomous tarantula (not for real, it's a joke), so the "maldita lisiada" doesn't try to steal your Nandito.
Televisa
Angelique Boyer's Teresa was only interested in one thing...MONEY. She was a smart girl and knew that she was beautiful. She needed a bandage dress to show off her curves and excite the women she wanted to use for her own advantage. If you decide to go with this character, you will need a teddy bear and play money to hide it inside the plush.
