You get to choose your own destiny in the sequel to the first-person stealth action game, Dishonored 2 from Bethesda. As GameSpot reports, Bethesa released a new trailer for Dishonored 2 starring the game’s principle characters, Emily Kaldwin and her father, Corvo Attano. The nearly three and a half minute compilation video demonstrates the many “creative kills” combinations players will get to perform in their playthrough. During gameplay, you assume the role of a ruthlessly lethal assassin with a barrage of weapons and supernatural powers at your disposal. You can combine and interchange any of the tools in your arsenal of powers, weapons and gadgets to choose how you exterminate your enemies.
With Dishonored 2’s menu of tangible and intangible tools, the creative kills possibilities are endless. In the new trailer, Emily reverses polarity and executes “Domino”, where enemies instantly share the same brutal fate. Another playthrough scenario has Emily summon a “Doppelganger” to a building’s ledge—a sneaky technique that lures enemies towards her stunt double. The distraction works as planned and a pack of troops at ground level never knew what hit them. To show off a more creatively brutal approach, the scene cuts to Emily selecting to employ a “Springrazor” weapon. This deadly trap throws shrapnel when it explodes, rendering the enemy into slices, just as its name implies. Dishonored 2 encourages gamers to exercise creativity, choose any one of 6 millon ways for adversaries to die.
Diehard fans and novice players alike can’t help but get ultra excited for the title’s imminent release after checking out the Bethesda’s newest teaser trailer. Developed by Arkrane Studios, the same team who brought us the original 2012 release, Dishonored 2 launches on November 11 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Just in time for the pre-holiday shopping season leading into Black Friday 2016, Dishonored 2 is destined to be at the top of many Christmas lists this year.
