Nikki Bella and John Cena may have just thrown shade at each other on Twitter. The couple dated for six years before calling it quits.
On his Twitter account, the WWE star wrote a word of warning to his followers. “Beware those who think you owe them happiness at the expense of your own well-being,” Cena tweeted.
Shortly after, Bella fired back with a longer tweet. “When you don’t give him what he wants, he will delete you, silence you, manipulate you, do what he can to destroy you, but turn that hurt into strength,” she wrote. “Take the high road and prevail! Happiness can’t be bought, it is priceless. It’s your true secret weapon.”
US Weekly broke the news about the couple’s split last month. Cena and Bella were previously engaged, but they decided to go their separate ways shortly after. Bella explained her split from Cena by saying that after they decided to break up, they still considered working on their relationship just so they could move forward with their wedding.
“After much time and soul-searching alone, and together, we have decided to officially part ways,” Bella recalled. “I had a beautiful and loving six-year relationship with a wonderful man. I have the utmost respect for John, but I know this is what’s best for me.”
Following their split, Bella moved on with her “Dancing With The Stars” pro partner Artem Chigvintsev. The couple was recently spotted kissing and canoodling after Bella got into a Twitter spat with Cena.
During their sighting in Los Angeles, Bella was photographed in her black long-sleeved cropped top and black pants. Chigvintsev, on the other hand, is wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, black jacket, jeans and a green bonnet.
Cena, on the other hand, is currently dating Shay Shariatzadeh. While speaking with Extra TV, the WWE pro was asked how his relationship with his new girlfriend has been. Cena replied by saying that he’s always happy. Cena and Shariatzadeh were last seen in public last month when the former sent the latter to the airport.
