Former f(x) star Sulli was found dead by her manager at her home in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam, South Korea. While no specific details have been released about the 25-year-old's passing, many are speculating that the young star may have committed suicide following her struggle with several years of online bullying.

Her manager went to check on the Kpop star after not being able to get in touch with her. She was found at the second floor of her home, unresponsive. Sulli, who's real name is Choi Jin-ri, first shot to fame in 2005 when she played Princess Seonhwa of Silla in the Korean drama, Ballad of Seodong.

She then auditioned for SM Entertainment and joined girl group f(x) alongside bandmates Victoria, Amber, Luna and Krystal in September 2009. They recorded and performed several songs together and seemed unstoppable, but in July 2014, it was announced that Sulli would be taking a hiatus from the group. In August 2015, Sulli had officially quit the group.

Sulli then decided to pursue her acting, appearing in movies and dramas such as The Pirates, Fashion King and Real and the TV dramas To The Beautiful You and Hotel Del Luna. She even won the 2012 Best New Star award at the SBS Drama Awards for her role as Goo Jae-hee in To The Beautiful You.

Sulli seemingly had things working in her favor, but the Kpop star did open up about mental health problems in an Instagram video that has already been taken down. In the video, Sulli revealed that she suffered from panic disorder and social phobia since she was young. She goes on to say, "Even close people left me. I was hurt by them and felt there was nobody who understands me, which made me fall apart".

Just recently, Sulli was embroiled in an online scandal when a live Instagram story showed her partially exposed breast. The video showed the star in a loose robe getting her hair and makeup done when the incident happened - screenshots of the "nip slip" have since gone viral making it one of the most searched items in South Korea.

Did the pressure of online bullying get to the young starlet? Only time will tell as police have yet to confirm anything else apart from Sulli's passing.
