The Denver Broncos entered the 2013-2014 NFL season as one of the favorites to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. Led by one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the National Football League, a tremendous core of receivers and a stout defense, the Broncos opened the season as one of the most complete teams in the league, and it showed in a season-opening throttling of the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens. Throwing for 7 touchdowns in the week 1 performance, quarterback Peyton Manning followed up that performance with another strong outing in week 2 against the New York Giants and his brother Eli Manning. Tossing 2 more scores in a 41-23 victory, Peyton and company now get set for their first divisional game against the Oakland Raiders.

Traveling to Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver to close out Week 3 of the NFL season, the 1-1 Oakland Raiders hope to take down their fierce division rival with a true statement victory. Oakland battled in a close week 1 loss to the Indianapolis Colts but bounced back nicely in a 19-9 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars last week. Quarterback Terrelle Pryor - who has thrown for 343 yards and a touchdown this season - is still growing into his own while the running game led by Pryor and Darren McFadden continues to provide added support for an offense that will need to be on point in a division with talented teams including the Broncos, San Diego Chargers and 3-0 Kansas City. Up against a loaded Denver team, Raiders head coach Dennis Allen knows his team will need to fire on all cylinders if they want to leave Denver with a 'W.'

"This will be the best team that we've faced and they're very talented," Allen said recently. "We're going to have to do a good job of changing things up and mixing some things up, mixing some looks and be able to play a good, team game."
