Former Disney stars and business partners, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas announced on “Good Morning America” that they will be touring together starting next summer. “Nick and I have decided, and we are announcing, that we are going on tour next year,” Lovato said. Titled "Future Now: The Tour," it will begin exactly next year on June 24 in Sunrise, Florida only to go all over the U.S. and Canada. The “Camp Rock” stars explained they are joining forces to hopefully have a great time, but mostly for the fans who have supported their music in the past few years.
Demi will be performing songs from her freshly released album “Confident,” which is already a big hit with titles like “Cool for the Summer,” “Stone Cold,” and “Confident,” while Nick has said he’ll be releasing a new album next year. Of course, it’s highly likely that Jonas will perform his hit singles from his same-name album, such as “Chains” and “Jealous.” This is not the first time the two tour together; Jonas joined Lovato’s tour “Neon Lights” tour in 2014. “I was part of the creative team on the tour and the chance to work behind the scenes was fun but now, to do this together, is really special for both of us,” Nick explained.
Aside from their announcement on national TV, the two have been promoting the exciting news all over their social media, and have even announced the tour dates from June to September 2016!
As it was to be expected, fans lost their minds with the announcement and seem to have crashed the tour's site in a matter of hours!
