David Ortiz has played his last game in Major League Baseball.
The 40-year-old Dominican slugger will be remembered as one of the best players in Boston Red Sox history. His memorable home runs, clutch hits at the plate, and three World Series titles helped rejuvenate baseball in Beantown.
Ortiz finished his career with an incredible 541 home runs, 38 of which came this year at the age of 40. Ortiz will be remembered as one of the greatest Latin American born players in MLB history.
With the Cleveland Indians moving on to the American League Championship Series, fans took to Twitter to remember Ortiz’s incredible career.

I loved to hate David Ortiz as a Yankee fan, but it's impossible to seriously hate the guy. I will miss #34. Godspeed Big Papi.
