Nowadays, celebrities face public scrutiny in everything they do. Their every move is broadcasted, either by them on social media, or by news outlets. People are constantly watching them, waiting for them to make a mistake, as if they weren’t humans and weren’t allowed. Monday happened to be Danna Paola’s time. The young actress posted a picture on her Instagram account of a coffee mug with Chanel’s logo and a quote, a nice plate with strawberries and bananas, and a computer in the background. She captioned it with “Morning.”
Almost immediately, people noticed that the picture wasn’t hers and found the original one on another Instagram account. She also posted pictures of shoes, nails and fruit with different captions, and each photo she posted, someone pointed out that it was “stolen” and would add the link to the real one. As a result, she deleted the pictures but the hashtag #RoboFotosComoDannaPaola or “I steal pictures like Danna Paola” started making rounds on Twitter with a hilarious outcome.
