Mexican singer Danna Paola stops rumors, and admits she had plastic surgery. The former Elphaba on “Wicked” talked to Javier Poza earlier today and she explained the reasons behind her surgical procedure. Apparently, she was having trouble breathing after ending her run at the acclaimed Broadway Musical in México and her doctors suggested she took care of it as soon as possible. When Poza confronted her about the possibility of having been submitted to other procedures, the singer replied:

“Trust me, not at all, a lot of people are saying that I changed my face and whatnot, and it was just a medical procedure because I fractured my nose 3 years ago, and I didn’t fix it; and now, close to the final performances of “Wicked” I was having trouble breathing, my nose septum was all cricked, just like the roads in Cuernavaca, it was horrible. So, the doctor told me that I didn’t have enough skin tissue on the top of my nose and if I didn’t do anything about it, my nose would drop.”

The new cast member of “Hoy no me puedo levantar” also mentioned that due to her upcoming events she decided to go into surgery and fix whatever issues the doctors were worrying about, including the tip of her nose. She also followed by saying that she is not against plastic surgery as long as it for health reasons, or in order to make someone happy.

“I think that if there is something that you don’t like about your body, and you have the opportunity to change it, and especially if it is health related, I would do it…very happily, I did not change my face like people are saying, I did it for my health, but oh well.”

The young performer mentioned she is very excited to go on tour with “Hoy no me puedo levantar,”a musical featuring Mecano’s greatest hits, which will be hitting 29 cities in México. She also revealed that she has been talking with the producers of “Wicked” and there is a possibility of her conquering the stages of Broadway, but unfortunately, we will have to wait until the singer turns 21 years of age.
