Dana White stated that Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are unequivocally committed to facing each other in the UFC Octagon, as he revealed during an interview with TMZ Sports, confirming that their recent online exchanges are indeed grounded in genuine intent, a fact he learned directly from the individuals themselves.

"I was talking to both Elon and Mark last night. Both guys are absolutely dead serious about this," the UFC president said. "They both said, 'Yeah, we'll do it!'"

On Tuesday, Elon Musk, who acquired Twitter in October 2022, took to the platform to address a report suggesting that Mark Zuckerberg's Meta, the company behind Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, had intentions to launch a Twitter competitor called Threads.

"I'm sure Earth can't wait to be exclusively under Zuck's thumb with no other options. At least it will be 'sane.' Was worried there for a moment 😅," Musk replied, "Better be careful @elonmusk I heard he does the ju jitsu now 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆."

"I'm up for a cage match if he is lol," Musk, 51, replied.

In response to the challenge, Mark Zuckerberg, aged 39, accepted it through his Instagram Story on Wednesday. He shared a screenshot of Elon Musk's tweet and wrote, "Send Me Location."

Dana White further informed TMZ Sports that Zuckerberg subsequently contacted him to verify the authenticity of Musk's intentions regarding the potential fight.

"I would absolutely positively do this," he insisted, predicting that "this would be the biggest fight ever in the history of the world — bigger than anything that's ever been done."

"You don't have to be a fight fan to be interested in this fight," he added. "Everybody would wanna see it."

White believes the match "would break all pay-per-view records" and make "hundreds of millions of dollars," which he said both guys would donate to charity.

Regarding their physical capabilities, Dana White revealed that Mark Zuckerberg is dedicated to training and excels in disciplines such as jiu-jitsu and stand-up fighting. He mentioned that Zuckerberg trains rigorously and displays proficiency in these areas.

Elon Musk, on the other hand, informed White about his own martial arts background and disclosed that he had engaged in numerous fights in South Africa.

Meanwhile, on Twitter, Elon Musk is presently making lighthearted remarks about his own strength and abilities, adopting a humorous approach to the topic, Page Six reported.

"I almost never work out, except for picking up my kids & throwing them in the air," the father of 10 quipped.

Zuckerberg tweeted, "This is going to be fun!"
