He played 20 long memorable seasons in Major League Baseball, and now Curt Schilling plans on taking his talents to the political world.

According to numerous reports, Schilling has decided to run against Elizabeth Warren for Massachusetts senator in 2018. Warren has been a Massachusetts Senator since 2013, but a few questionable decisions and policies have Schilling wanting to make a run at politics.

"I've made my decision. I'm going to run. But I haven't talked to Shonda, my wife. And ultimately it's going to come down to how her and I feel this would affect our marriage and our kids,” said Schilling. Schilling has been very vocal on social media regarding politics since he retired.

Others haven't been so supportive of Ms. Warren on social media after so many controversies.

Schilling also went on to talk about Democratic Presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton.

“If I’m going to believe, and I don’t have any reason not to believe, that she gave classified information on hundreds if not thousands of emails on a public server after what happened to Gen. Petraeus, she should be buried under a jail somewhere. "If she's allowed to get to the general election before she's in prison, I'll be stunned and I'll be upset," Schilling said earlier this year.

Schilling will always be remembered as one of the greatest playoff pitchers in MLB history. He finished his extraordinary career with an 11-2 record in the postseason and three World Series championships. He’ll always be remembered for the “bloody sock game in” while playing with the Red Sox as well.

Schilling has implied multiple times that one day he would get involved in the political landscape, but this was the first real quote we got about from the All Star pitcher in regards to entering the 2018 senate race.
