Cristiano's Crotch: Portugal 'Erects' Well-Endowed Statue Of Soccer Star Ronaldo

Portuguese soccer star, Cristiano Ronaldo, had quite the honor bestowed upon him in his hometown of Madeira on Sunday. The city erected a large bronze statue for their favorite son, and Ronaldo was on hand with friends and family for it’s unveiling.

The statue is 11 feet tall and is made with over 1,700 pounds of pure bronze. The work of art is located outside of Ronaldo’s own personal museum in Madeira, called the “Cr7 Museum.” The museum houses more than 125 awards, accolades, gifts and a giant wax figure of Ronaldo in his Portuguese national team shirt. The statue boldly captures Ronaldo’s impressive physique, but it’s Cristiano’s crotch on the statue that had social media buzzing today.

As you can see from the pictures of the statue, its sculptor was extremely generous with the crotch region and made sure Ronaldo was “well endowed” in the bronze version of himself. It’s unmistakable that the statue’s shorts pitch a noticeable tent in the region where his unit would be.

“I feel very proud to be honored with a statue in Madeira,” the soccer star wrote on his Twitter account posting a picture of himself next to the statue. “It is a great joy to share this moment with my family and with the people of Madeira. Thank you all for such a warm welcome.”

The picture Ronaldo posted instantly became a Twitter sensation as the #RonaldoStatue and #RonaldoErection were immediately trending topics. Ronaldo’s tweet was re-tweeted nearly 6,000 times and liked by nearly 10,000 people.

“Your membership is a bit much, my friend,” replied one of Ronaldo’s Twitter followers.

“Cristiano should be thinking about a penalty mark at that time,” added another.

This is not the first time Cristiano’s crotch has become a topic for controversy however. In fact, Ronaldo’s “member” has been a running joke for years now. Last year, at an event to celebrate the launch of his CR7 underwear line, the Real Madrid striker was given a cake in the shape of his crotch region with his CR7 boxer briefs on it. The world quickly noticed the generous extra amount of frosting in the groin region and it too became a trending topic.

We’re not sure if Ronaldo,(who’s ego has a reputation all its own) had anything to do or say about the size of his member in the making of the statue, or whether or not he was under the influence of Viagra while posing for the piece, but we know he hasn’t complained about it yet.
