Cristiano Ronaldo’s New Girlfriend: Vanessa Huppenkothen, Televisa Deportes, Is Soccer Star’s Alleged New Love

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most eligible bachelor's, but he might be off the market if the new rumors happen to be true. The 30-year-old Real Madrid striker has fallen for a new woman following his breakup from Russian model Irina Shayk. His new flame is Televisa Deportes reporter and model, Vanessa Huppenkothen, according to DiezMinutos. Although the two are not official yet, it is rumored that Ronaldo fell for the Mexican beauty following her visit to Spain. Huppenkothen was in that country promoting a new betting service. It will be next month when Vanessa interviews Cristiano as part of her job and this might be the time where he scores a new goal in life. Following the soccer star's breakup he was linked briefly to Lucía Villalón, another sports reporter. Could Vanessa and Cristiano have a future together? Only time will tell.

In January of this year Cristiano confirmed that his relationship with Irina Shayk had ended. “After dating for five years, my relationship with Irina Shayk has come to an end,” read Ronaldo’s statement. “We believed it would be best for both of us to take this step now. I wish Irina the greatest happiness.” There was no word as to what caused the breakup, but rumors started picking up when Irina wasn't present during the FIFA Ballon d'Or ceremony in Zurich by Ronaldo's side. Shortly after the gala where Ronaldo took home the top award for the second year in a row, Shayk unfollowed him on Twitter. Speculation over what caused the drift is not clear, but sources say the couple ended their holiday break with a "massive argument" in Dubai.

Vanessa Huppenkothen was the start of the World Cup 2014, causing a splash in Brazil. Huppenkothen recently divorced after an alleged affair with fellow co-host Miguel Gurwitz, rumors they have both debunked. After the world-event she surprised everyone by admitting she was in a new relationship. "Life really just puts things in its place, you don't have to be looking and it arrives when you least expected," she told morning show "Hoy" back in August 2014. "I don't know if I am in love, but I am very hopeful," she added. "The smile has returned to Vanessa and the feeling of completeness and goodness." She didn't give too many details as to who this mystery man is but she did say the following: "He doesn't live in México, but him being far away and only being able to see each other on occasion makes it much more interesting."
