The 2013 transfer window may be nearing a close and while Cristiano Ronaldo certainly has no plans to depart Real Madrid in the immediate future, talks surrounding the international superstar's current contract with the club are starting to circulate.

Despite rumors that he recently inked a new deal at the Bernabeu, ESPN FC reports that Cristiano Ronaldo remains unconcerned with his future since there he still has two seasons remaining on his current contract.

"I have more years to come," the 28-year-old recently said to Sky Sports. 'The contract renewal is not something that worries me now. Things take place naturally and sooner or later people will know about it. The situation does not worry me. Things are going well. I am happy and do not think that the world is ending."

Clearly satisfied with his situation at Real Madrid, Ronaldo pointed out that playing for coach Carlo Ancelotti is an exciting part of his job and that the main goal during the 2013-2014 will be to win multiple championships, something the club failed to do a year ago when they took home only the Supercopa. He's also looking to improve on a personal level this season.

"We are going to try and win La Liga and the Champions League," Ronaldo said. "It will be difficult but it is a good team, we have a great coach and we are going to try and make this happen. Year after year I manage to improve my marks. I do not focus on the number of goals, but I am going to give my best to try and surpass everything. I am ambitious."

Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2009 for a record fee of £80 million after spending six seasons at Old Trafford with Manchester United. Recording over 200 goals at the Bernabeu since becoming the team's primary weapon, Ronaldo is certainly a figure Madrid fans won't want to lose down the road.

For now though, it does appear that Ronaldo will remain at Real Madrid for the long haul, even if he isn't too descriptive about his current contract.
