Cristiano Ronaldo Throws Awful First Pitch At Los Angeles Dodgers Game [VIDEO]

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the top soccer players in the world right now while also being one of the most recognizable figures in all of sports.

While the Real Madrid forward has his sights set on helping Florentino Perez and the club improve upon last season's second place finish in La Liga, the 28-year-old spent some time at a recent Los Angeles Dodgers game where he was given the tremendous honor of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.

With the Dodgers sitting in first place in the National League West and the visiting New York Yankees coming to the Chavez Ravine, Dodger Stadium was a packed house, with all eyes on the soccer star's opening throw.

Rising baseball star Yasiel Puig did the catching duties for Ronaldo's pitch and as the Real Madrid forward set up on the mound, the former UEFA Champions League winner looked mighty confident in his ability to throw a strike.

As he wound up slightly behind the pitcher's rubber and made his throwing motion, Ronaldo delivered the pitch very high and extremely wide, to the point where Puig turned back with a shocked looked on his face.

Despite completely misfiring on the first -- and sometimes only attempt guests receive -- Ronaldo was handed the opportunity to redeem himself and this time, the international superstar delivered. Though the pitch was somewhat high, it was certainly more appealing to those in attendance since it hovered right over home plate.

After the pregame baseball festivities concluded, Ronaldo and Puig were able to do a little juggling of the soccer ball together before the start of the Dodgers game.

Even though it was certainly a thrill to have one of the best athletes in the world throwing out the first pitch at a baseball game between two of the most historic teams in all of sports, Cristiano may want to stick to soccer since his baseball skills don't appear to be at a high level!
