Five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo shared a hot workout photo on Saturday amid the striker's transfer rumors.
Ronaldo, 37, once again flaunted his incredible physique by uploading a photo from his workout session. The Portuguese forward can be seen doing crunches and he captioned the photo with muscle emoji. In the two images posted by Ronaldo, his chiselled abs are clearly visible, and there are no signs of fat on his body.
Manchester United's top goalscorer continues to train amid persistent speculations about his future in the upcoming season. He has previously confirmed his plan to exit Old Trafford, seeking a new team due to his desire to participate in the Champions League.
Ronaldo did not travel to Thailand to join in United's pre-season tour and he is also expected to skip the Red Devil's upcoming Australia tour due to family issues.
The footballer has been linked to potential moves to several clubs. However, high-profile European teams like Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain did not express much interest in Ronaldo. Real Madrid is also said to be unwilling to re-sign the United legend as the club's priority is to sell the players they do not need before adding players to the squad. Ronaldo has reportedly turned down a massive $277 million salary offer from an unnamed Saudi Arabia club.
Man Utd's new manager Erik ten Hag has said that Ronaldo is a perfect fit for the new campaign. However, he has admitted that he still has not gotten a word from Ronaldo since he made a surprising claim of leaving the club. The former Ajax boss also has no idea when Ronaldo will return to training. The club have been trying to extend their patience for Ronaldo, being careful not to put any pressure on him. United flew back home on a 20-hour flight via Bangkok after their final tour match – a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa in Perth.
Man United have two more friendly matches, facing Atletico Madrid in Oslo on July 30. The second match will be against Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford the following day.
