Ronaldo scored in the 33rd minute, surpassing the record set by Milan's Jose "Mazzola" Altafini in the 1962-63 season and equalled by Messi in 2011-12. Fox Soccer tweeted "Goal, Real Madrid! Ronaldo now owns the single-season UCL scoring record (15 goals), but more importantly, the final beckons!"
