Aleks Sytnek and Cristian Castro fans rejoice! The two Mexican singers announced an unexpected joint tour after the chemistry they found they had during the making of “Tan cerquita.” The concert series is set to kick off in Mexico City this coming November at the National Auditorium. Tour organizers have said the concerts will include the singers' greatest hits “will alternate, will be combined and will even be performed as mashups.” It’s highly likely that the two will perform tunes like Castro’s “Azul,” “Lloviendo Estrellas,” “No Podrás” and “Cada Momento,” as well as Syntek’s “"Sexo, Pudor y Lágrimas," "Mis Impulsos Sobre Ti" and "Es Mejor Así."
Syntek told EFE they are looking to give this to their fans after many years of loyalty and love. “For me it means coming out of my comfort zone, the challenge of doing a new version of the songs made famous by the great Cristian Castro, as well as reinventing my own to be sung with his voice,” Syntek continued. Back in February, when the two collaborated, Castro had nothing but great things to say to Sytnek when he shared a snippet of the song with fans: “You’re a great colleague and people truly love you, like myself, I admire you, I’ve always wanted to work with you and meet your family and get to know your work style, which I loved,” said Castro.
“We get along great and most probably, just like Emmanuel and Mijares, we’ll do our own tour ‘Cristian and Syntek.’ And it’s most likely that we’ll do this tour soon,” Aleks told Mexican radio station Radio Formula. The tour dates and cities have yet to be announced.
