A police officer shot and killed a lady with whom he was having a heated fight.

Master Sergeant Hensie Zinampan, who appeared to be drunk and was dressed in civilian clothing, took a gun from a bag and held it behind his back. He lurches unsteadily towards a woman named Lilibeth Valdez, who is in a store buying cigarettes.

"We're both drunk aren't we," Zinampan said in vernacular. He then told Valdez to "come here," grabbing her by the hair. He shot her when she said, "Sir, please don't hurt me sir." As he walks away as if nothing occurred, children can be heard screaming and crying.

The crime happened in Quezon City, Philippines on Monday night, about 9 p.m.. The woman who died turns out to be Zinampan's neighbor.

According to reports, Zinampan and Valdez had been feuding. He also got into a brawl with Valdez's relatives. Zinampan had been threatening the family since then, according to relatives.

Zinampan will be charged with criminal and administrative charges, according to Philippine National Police Chief Guillermo Eleazar.

He will also face summary hearings before the Internal Affairs Service, where he was assigned to the Police Security Protection Group (IAS). Zinampan is on the verge of being discharged from the military.

According to Eleazar, Zinampan was detained by responding police officers from the Quezon City Police District Station 5 hours after the event.

Officials also retrieved the gun Zinampan used to kill Valdez.

Zinampan first denied committing the crime, according to Eleazar, who questioned him. But he later admitted to doing the crime.

"There's nothing he can do. There's a video," he said in an interview with reporters per local stories.

An officer also killed an 18-year-old man with special needs in Valenzuela City about a week earlier, on May 24. Authorities claim the victim was caught for unlawful cockfighting and got into a gunfight, which resulted in his death.

The victim's family, on the other hand, said he had autism and was terrified of authorities.
