A post-coma request for Bob Seger shocked the family of a Michigan woman when she woke up after two years. 79-year-old Evie Branan's first words were "I want to go to a Bob Seger concert". Proving that 'Rock & Roll Never Forgets', Branan purported that her last thoughts before slipping into the coma were of the Detroit rocker and his Silver Bullet Band. Evie Branan was staying at the Willowbrook Manor nursing facility when she woke up and shocked her family and friends.

Nursing home administrator Michelle Cross later purchased tickets for a concert in nearby Auburn Hills, Mich., and told Evie Branan and her aide that 'You'll Accomp'ny Me' to witness some 'Old Time Rock & Roll'.

When hearing of Evie Branan's post-coma request to see Bob Seger, Anne Tenbusch, an executive assistant for the organization that manages the rocker, offered Branan's party to attend a private meet-and-greet after the concert: "Bob loves his fans," Tenbusch said, "It's such a cool story I just wanted to help out in any way I could."

When being interviewed by "Michigan Live" about her post-coma request, Evie Branan was already allegedly sporting a Bob Seger t-shirt. After two years of 'Running Against The Wind' it looks like this senior citizen will be seeing her wish of attending a Bob Seger concert once again come true.
