Colorado is back in the NCAA Tournament for the third straight year. They earned themselves and eight seed. Their opponent is Pittsburgh who went 25-9 this season. Panthers are a strong team. Pittsburgh’s go-to-guy is Lamar Patterson. He leads the team in scoring and assists per game. So he is the player that has led this team up to this point.

Colorado is going to have to play a very efficient offensive game in order to beat Pittsburgh. The Panthers’ slow tempo has paid off and will help them and be an advantage. Colorado has more turnovers than Pittsburgh. In order for the Buffaloes to win, they will have to keep the turnover number below 10.

Pittsburgh plays great transition defense. Rebounding will definitely be a factor in this game. Colorado has struggled without Dinwiddie. Aside from beating UNC in the ACC Tournament, Pitt really has not had any impressive wins. This might be a game that will be decided in the last minute. The No. 9 team could beat the No.8 team. This has happened before. Pittsburgh has the best player on the court in Lamar Patterson.
