A Colorado man was caught on camera throwing a cup of coffee at a charging bull elk that was blocking him from going to work.
Matt Roehl was videoing elks at Evergreen Lake when he saw the man grow increasingly frustrated by the animal, which was seemingly blocking his path.
The man started cursing at the elk, which then charged at him. The elk then stands still for a moment before waltzing away.
"Several people in the crowd were like 'give him space, what are you doing,'" Roehl told KDVR. "The gentleman kind of fought back at us."
Joey Livingston, a public information officer with Colorado Parks and Wildlife, told KDVR it is illegal to harass wildlife. It is unclear if the man in the video will face consequences for the incident.
