FINAL! Colombia have started Brazil 2014 well with a convincing 3-0 victory over an average Greek side.

63rd minute: CROSSBAR! Wonderful Greek play finds an empty Gekas on the six yard box but he just doesn't catch it cleanly and strikes the bar! Colombia escape.

58th minute: GOOOOOOOLLLLL!!!! Colombia again! A near post corner is deflected accross the six and finished cleanly by Teo Gutierrez. Colombia 2-0.

57th miunte: Greek substitution - Fetfatzidis on for Salpingidis.

55th minute: A frustrated challenge by Salingidis which stops Colombia's counter yields him a yellow. The second for the Greeks. The ensuing free kick is dangerous but held by the Greek keeper.

52nd minute: Hard challenge from behind by Papastathopolous who is rightfully booked. One yellow card for each side.

51st minute: Both teams looking to attack early in the half.

48th minute: Samaras goes down in the box but no penalty given. He also gives referee Geiger the OK, signaling he made the right decision.

The teams are back from the locker room and the second half is about to begin.

Halftime in Belo Horizonte. Colombia lead 1-0 but the Greeks have had their fair share of chances. Look for them to come out firing in the second period.

45th minute: The best chance of the half for the Greeks! The ball pops loose on the edge of the box and Kone strikes it well forcing a WONDERFUL save by goalkeeper Ospina. Colombia holding on. 1 minute of added time to be played.

33rd minute: Colombia looking solid in the attacking third. Sharp and full of energy. The Greeks attempting to patiently build play.

28th minute: A dangerous free kick by the Greeks is headed just wide by Torosidis. That was close.

26th minute: First booking of the match, a hard foul by Carlos Sanchez.

22nd minute: Greeks are controlling possession and Colombia is happily sitting back.

17th minute: A good give and go between Ibarbo and Gutierrez needs some tidying up at the back. Colombia regain possession and have a strike from distance but it's easy for the keeper.

10th minute: Samaras is tripped up about 30 yards from goal and the Greeks have a good opportunity but the free kick hits the wall.

5th minute: GOOOOOLLLLLL!!!!! Colombia are off and running! Wonderful play by Juan Cuadroado on the right flank yields an open shot by Armero which deflects and rolls by the keeper Kamezis. 1-0 Colombia.

4th minute: First shot for the Greeks, taken outside of the box by Maniatis.

The anthems have been sung and the stadium is a sea of yellow in support of Colombia. Here we go!!
