Recently completing a phenomenal individual season in which he threw for over 3,800 yards and accounted for 42 total touchdowns, Florida State freshman quarterback Jameis Winston was honored with one of the biggest awards in all of sports. Named the 79th winner of the Heisman Trophy, Winston became just the second freshman to ever win the illustrious award that honors college football players for their tremendous on-field abilities while noting the positive things they do with full integrity away from the game. In addition to winning the Heisman, Winston was recently named to the 2013 Associated Press First-Team All-America list, another tremendous accomplishment to a season he hopes ends with a championship.

Winston and the No. 1 Seminoles are preparing for a January 6 showdown with No. 2 Auburn that will determine the National Champion in the final BCS Title game but as these two squads prepare for what should be a tremendous battle, the AP once again revealed its rosters for the First, Second and Third team All-Americans, selecting some of the top overall players in the collegiate game. Arizona State defensive tackle Will Sutton, Arizona running back Ka'Deem Carey and Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley all landed on the All-America squad for the second straight season while 2012 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel - the first freshman to bring home the award - landed as the Second Team quarterback.

2013 Heisman hopeful and three-time National Champion A.J. McCarron of the Alabama Crimson Tide received Third team quarterbacking honors while big names in Andre Williams (Boston College running back), Jake Matthews (Texas A&M tackle) and Oregon State receiver Mike Evans all landed on the First team squad. Williams finished fourth in Heisman voting behind Winston, AJ McCarron and Northern Illinois quarterback Jordan Lynch while Johnny Manziel finished fifth and Auburn running back Tre Mason (Second team All-America) finished sixth.
