Experiencing a unique moment of its rich and successful history, Clube Atlético Mineiro will be celebrating 105 years on Monday. Clube Atlético Mineiro was founded on March 25, 1908 in Belo Horizonte, State of Minas Gerias. However, the famed club began to celebrate their 105th birthday a day early.
The club celebrated through their official website, by changing the cover photo of the site to highlight key players and wrote in bold gold lettering the following: "More than century, IMMORTAL. 105 years of Clube Atlético Mineiro."
Some players, Diego Tardelli and Bernard, gave their congratulations to their much loved club in a video clip played on TVGalo. The video highlighted the dedicated fans, the massive stadium and of course some of our favorite players.
"I want to congratulate the club on 105 years of tradition and respect, a club that I learned to love, respect and love. Clube Atlético Mineiro, I congratulate you," stated Diego Tardelli.
Bernard also delivered a heartfelt testimonial.
"I am glad to be a part of this story, I want to congratulate such a big club, which has so much love. I hope the club continues to grow each day and make history."
