Things inside the Manchester United camp are growing increasingly tense. Problems from within the 'Red Devils' team, and this time Mexican striker Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández is at the center of the maelstorm. 'Chicharito' has taken to Instagram to lash out against comments made by Dutch player Robin Van Persie concerning the nature of the team. Following the 2-0 defeat of Man U by Olympiakos, Van Persie suggested that some players on the team were not deserving of their position.
In an interview with the Daily Mail following Manchester United's defeat, Robin Van Persie stated "Our fellow players are sometimes occupying the spaces I want to play in. And when I see that, it makes it difficult for me to come to those spaces as well. So that forces me to adjust my runs, based on the position of my fellow players. And, unfortunately, they are often playing in my zones. I think that's a shame." The implication was pretty clear.
Chicharito took to Instagram, posting a photo of himself with his teammate Patrice Evra with the comment "Without your teammates you can't be somebody in football, always be thankful." Instagram has become one of Chicharito's favorite media for expressing his views. He has also hinted at issues within the Mexican National Team, saying "It's not time to talk about certain things, but the day will come." There has been no reply as of yet from Robin Van Persie.
