It looks like Chayanne had a hectic weekend dying and resuscitating in less time than it took Jesus to do it. Starting late Friday, a rumor began circulating on Facebook and Twitter that Puerto Rican singer Chayanne had died. Then it was “backed up” by the blog Zabludovsky Noticias, which reported that the performer had died in the Mercy hospital in Miami due to a “respiratory failure” that led to a “massive heart attack.” The publication continued to say that Chayanne’s wife, Marilisa Maronese was next to the singer at all times and accompanied him in the ambulance that drove him to the emergency room.
It also stated that the crooner’s family was traveling to Miami from Puerto Rico to attend the funeral that was supposedly taking place over the weekend. Not only that, but Zabludovsky even added that Chayanne’s “heartbroken fans” were outside the hospital showing their love and support. Needless to say, that was only a hoax. Chayanne is alive and kicking! Obviously, if you were a true Chayanne fan, you would’ve known better and instead of rushing to spread the lie, you would’ve checked his Twitter account.
First of all, Chayanne is in Spain promoting his new album “En Todo Estaré,” and he’s been very active on social media posting updates of his travel. As usual, he looks super handsome and healthy and hopefully we will have him “para rato” as Latinos say!
