Whiskey Pairings: Celebrate National Oyster Day With These Cocktails
Rhapsody in Skye
Created by Mixologist Steven Lewis to be enjoyed with fresh East Coast oysters.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Talisker 10-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
3/4 oz Ginger Syrup
1 dash Cardamom Bitters
Orange Twist for Garnish
Rose Water for Garnish
Preparation:
Combine Talisker 10 Year Old, fresh lemon juice, ginger syrup, and cardamom bitters into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain contents into a chilled Nick & Nora glass and garnish with an orange twist and a few drops of rose water.
Ginger Syrup:
1 1/2 cup room temperature Ginger Juice
1 cup Sugar
Stir ginger juice and sugar in a saucepan on high heat until dissolved. Pour into a clean glass container and allow to cool. Will keep 4-6 weeks.

Ingredients:
1 1/4 oz Talisker 10-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
3/4 oz Simple syrup
Champagne for top
Preparation:
Combine Talisker 10-Year-Old, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain contents into a Flute glass. Fill to top with champagne and garnish with a twist.

Ingredients:
4 oz Talisker 10-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
1 oz Italian Apéritif
4 oz Lemonade
4 oz Coconut Water
1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 oz Cranberry Juice
Preparation:
Combine Talisker 10 Year Old, Italian Apéritif, lemonade, coconut water, fresh lemon juice, and cranberry juice into a punch bowl with fresh ice. Garnish with orange wheels, lemon wheels, and edible flowers.
