Carmen Salinas is not worried about the criticism she’s been under after she announced her Congress candidacy. She said that she is preparing herself, and she even memorized the Constitution. She wanted to let all the haters know that she is doing everything possible to be ready when the time comes to take the position.
“I’m reading a lot to be ready, I even read the whole Constitution, I memorized it, and I also learned PRI’s legislatures. I read every day, it’s essential for my position.” Stated the future Congress Woman.
During a recent interview, Carmelita Salinas also mentioned that she is unclear about her future position, but she assures that she will be more than ready for it regardless of what it is. “I still don’t know what position I’ll get, but whatever they give me, I’ll try to do my best.”
The Mexican actress talked about the criticism that she’s been getting regarding her decision to run for Congress: “I’m not worried about people criticizing me for my candidacy, I’m sure those are people from the opposite party saying that. Honestly, I don’t know why they do it, they shouldn’t worry about me being there, and if they do, is probably because they have something to fear.”
Salinas is not ready to give up the acting world, she’ll be in San Diego, California and Tijuana, shooting the film “Ruta Madre,” where she’ll be playing a grandmother. Also featured in the movie are Angélica María, Luis Felipe Tovar, and Odiseo Bichir.
