MIAMI - Latin music artists Camilo and Evaluna Montaner have again delighted their fans with heartwarming news. The beloved couple announced the birth of their second child, a daughter named Amaranto, on Instagram on August 1st.

The announcement, accompanied by a series of tender photographs, ended speculation about the baby's gender. "Amaranto. All the frogs came out to sing your welcome. Golden velvet girl. Daddy caught you, and you painted his hands forever. Midnight sovereign. Welcome," read their touching post.

Camilo and Evaluna are parents for the second time

The couple, who had earlier shared the joyous news of their second pregnancy on February 21st, expressed their excitement through a video where Camilo recited a heartfelt poem. In the same video, they introduced the "Refugio de Índigo y Amaranto," a nod to their growing family.

Evaluna shared, "Camilo wrote this poem before we knew we were expecting you... A few weeks later, we found out you were already with us. We are thrilled to meet you. Your big sister already wants to take care of you. Amaranto, we are honored to be your parents. Officially, the Echeverri-Reglero family is now four."

Evaluna had announced that she was planning a home birth, as she did with her first daughter Índigo. The photos published by the couple indicate that she was able to follow her birthing plan.

A special love story

Evaluna and Camilo's relationship has always been a source of inspiration for their fans. The couple, known for their deep connection and mutual admiration, often shares glimpses of their life, filled with love and creativity.

They first met in 2015 and quickly became inseparable. They share a personal and professional bond and collaborate on various musical projects that have become emblematic of Latin music. Their journey together has been marked by heartfelt moments and shared dreams, making their growing family even more special.

Amaranto Echeverry

Despite their joy, the journey to Amaranto's arrival wasn't without its scares. At six months pregnant, Evaluna experienced a terrifying accident with their first child, Índigo. Camilo recounted the incident on the podcast '40 Copas con Roberto Cardona,' explaining how Evaluna and Índigo fell from a hammock at home.

"My wife loves to rock in the hammock with Índigo to put her to sleep. There was one that was a bit higher, and I was in a meeting when suddenly I heard a loud thud from the concrete floor," he said. He rushed to find Evaluna on the ground, holding Índigo, with her large belly from the pregnancy. Although it was a frightening moment, thankfully, both mother and daughter were unharmed.

Now, with Amaranto safe in their arms, Camilo and Evaluna are overjoyed and grateful, ready to embrace this new chapter in their lives as a family of four.
