Camila Mendes And Charles Melton Split: Who Was Caught Cheating?

Fans of the hit series “Riverdale” will be heartbroken to know that it’s not just their favourite characters who are undergoing changes on-screen, but their beloved real-life couple from the show is facing their own share of ups and downs. The popular and much-adored couple of Camila Mendes and Charles Melton have been on a “break” from their relationship for quite some time now.

The pair plays Veronica Lodge and Reggie Mantle, respectively, on “Riverdale” and are taking a break from their relationship, as disclosed by sources close to the couple. Apparently, the “break” took place months ago and the two actors have been maintaining their professionalism on-set.

So, what was the reason behind the split, are the speculations of one of them cheating on the other true?

Apparently, not. Truth is, that the couple is taking time off their personal life and currently focusing on their career.

"Cami and Charles have been separated for a few months now. They are taking a break from their relationship," a source shared with E! "Their relationship escalated very quickly and they are taking time now to focus on their work and themselves."

"They both have movie projects separately and it's been a lot on both their plates," the source added. "Nothing in particular happened, they just both felt busy and overwhelmed and it was a lot of pressure on them." According to the insider, the couple had been "stressed" and were facing "ups and downs" in their relationship.

"They are still in touch and both understand they need to be cordial while on set and throughout press for the show," the source clarified. "They have been filming together while being split and things have been normal. Everyone is very close on the show and are all very good friends. They can't ignore each other so they just remain cordial and try and focus on filming. They are still filming Riverdale season 4, but will have a break for the holidays for a few weeks."

The rumours of the couple not being together anymore had been circulating social media since Mendes and Melton's last PDA post together had been in August 2019 to celebrate their first anniversary together.
