Cameron Diaz is head-over-heels with her husband Benji Madden... and she wants the whole world to know it! Despite having had long-term relationships with celebs such as producer Carlos de la Torre, actor Matt Dillon, singer/actor Jared Leto, singer Justin Timberlake and baseball player Alex Rodriguez, Diaz is convinced that she found the one in the Good Charlotte band member.
Diaz, who is recently promoting her new published work titled "The Longevity Book," fessed up about her marriage with Andy Cohen on his Sirius XM Radio show. "Nothing matters now that I have my husband," she said, according to People, stating that she doesn't think of the past or any of her ex-novios. "I don't even remember any of that. Like that's the thing, that's how I know he's my husband because no one compares," she stated.
In her quest on finding "the one," Diaz revealed that many of her friends would tell her "you just know when you know." "I was always like, 'What does that mean … what does that mean?' Then I was like 'Oh, I get it, you just know when you know, like you're my husband," she said on the show, admitting that the rock star caught her attention more than one time.
"The first thing I saw when I first met my husband, I was like he's hot! We had just never been in the same circle, then I saw him like a year later, I saw him again, and I was like wait a second, still hot," she said. The couple met at a BBQ hosted by her friend Nicole Richie and husband/Benji's brother, Joel Madden. After eight months of dating, they got engaged and tied the knot January 2015 in a private ceremony.
"You realize like, 'Oh right, this is what the real thing is, this is what real love is and this is what commitment and devotion is,' " the 43-year-old actress of Cuban descent said. "This is the person that you build your life with, and for me, it's like the rest of everything else just kind of like dissolves."
The entire interview will air at 8 a.m. ET on Friday, April 8 via Sirius XM Radio.
