BTS ARMY are expressing their hopes that k-pop band member, Kim Taehyung, also known as V, would appear in the upcoming season two of "Squid Game" after the global actor, Lee Jung Jae uploaded a photo with V Monday on Instagram. The picture has since gone viral.
After garnering massive recognition through the Netflix hit series "Squid Game," Lee finally opened his own Instagram account in October. He shared numerous photos with various celebrities, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Elle Fanning, Eva Chow, and BLACKPINK's Jennie.
Lee uploaded a photo with V, wherein the two posed closely together in comfortable clothing with smiles displayed on their faces. Several fans left comments hoping V to be featured on the next season of "Squid Game," with everyone showing their support and interest in this possibility.
Lee has been a veteran in the Korean film industry. His acting in the Netflix dystopian drama "Squid Game" escalated him into an international sensation. The series revolved around players who were short of money and in debt. They were all given a chance to enter into a deadly competition of traditional children's games to win large amounts of money
Bangtan Boys popularly known as BTS, has been making continuous noise in the music industry. BTS won at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards. They took home the Song of the Year for "Butter" while Jung Jae won Actor of the Year. Moreover, the actor has become the first-ever Korean actor nominated at the Gotham Independent Film Awards, the Critics' Choice Awards, and the Golden Globe Awards. Additionally, BTS was nominated for the 2022 Grammy Awards for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
Meanwhile, according to BIGHIT Music, three BTS members have tested positive for COVID-19. The group had returned to South Korea from their US schedule. It was their first tour in two years since the coronavirus pandemic.
Suga was the first to test positive. As per restrictions in South Korea, Suga immediately went into quarantine after getting tested; he reportedly did not come in contact with other BTS band members. RM tested negative in a PCR testing done on Dec. 17, but tested positive on Saturday with no particular symptoms. Jin also took the PCR test, and tested positive on Saturday; he suffers from mild symptoms, including slight fever.
