A shooting that took place early morning in Brielle, New Jersey, left one woman in critical condition, and no arrests have been made yet after the incident.

The shooting occurred in the parking lot of the Sand Bar restaurant in Monmouth County, and the victim, an unidentified 35-year-old woman, was critically injured after a shot was fired and the bullet stroke her.

Police started a manhunt for a suspect in the Point Pleasant neighborhood after the incident occurred, shortly after 1 a.m., who residents suggested may be the Sand Bar's owner.

News 12 New Jersey reported that "police were knocking on doors near the Bay Poing Harbor Condominiums in Point Pleasant Borough. Neighbors tell News 12 New Jersey the man police say they were looking for is the owner of the Sand Bar ... Police have not yet confirmed who was shot or the identity of the suspect. The victim was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with unspecified injuries."

No arrests have been made yet and police still have not disclosed the name of the female victim shot at the Sand Bar. Some reports claim that authorities have "contained" a suspect in a local residence but no official statement has been released on the case.
As for the victim, she's "critical but in stable condition."
